After reading this post [Suspension Clearances for Wider / Taller tires], I am confident and happy with my build.
So I just ordered a set of 18 inches Martian Forged rim
And A set of 235/60R18 CrossClimate 2 from Costco. (they are on sale!)
This MYP will just be a cruise car, focus on ride quality and all-season performance, and maybe efficiency (who knows)
Another option could be a 255/55R18 CrossClimate SUV, but I'd prefer the 2nd generation tires.
But keep in mind 255/55R18 will come with 109W, which is dominating both the load and speed rating.
I've also done the online calculation of the load. And I believe 40 PSI for the 107 tires should be sufficient.
This tire has a 107 load index. And these forged rims are capable of 1 ton.
It is narrower, by 20mm, and speed rating of V. That's a concern if you want to push the car hard.
But I won't go 149mph on the freeway.
I will update once I got the car.
