None of them are selected, yet I got these two texts. (and no messages or any contact since).

Oh, and on the manage link on my account, 2 weeks later it still says "Your Tesla has been built and is in transit from the factory".
...

Maybe just call the Tesla location where you're taking delivery and see if someone can help you out. When I needed to cancel my upcoming delivery appt., my DS said she could take care of it and that when everything is settled with my OA regarding switching back to my original vehicle (long story), that I could either contact her or my delivery location to arrange my delivery appointment. I had also previously received a phone call directly from my delivery location (not from my DS) to see if I wanted to move my delivery up sooner.

So it's probably not a big deal to call your delivery location and inquire about the status of your vehicle and maybe even make the appointment directly with them. They might be eager to get your vehicle out of their lot sooner.

What I've found during this whole "journey" is to be as proactive as possible and be some what "annoying" by calling the 1-800 number to correlate what the internal delivery specialist (IDS) is saying. I've outlined my experience in other threads before, so will keep it brief here. My IDS did not respond to my 2-3 queries for probably about a week, DESPITE, having the 1-800 customer service line send him a message to follow-up with me. Pretty much I spent a good part of the month trying to figure out when would the car even start production, and navigating through inconsistencies between what the IDS tells me (if he even responded) vs. the status from the 1-800 line. I went from a delivery date of January 7, 2019 (original at time of VIN assignment) to sometime after Dec 8 when the vehicle should complete production, to a delivery date of December 7 at 4pm, to finally December 7 at 1pm. The whole 4pm vs. 1pm thing was weird. IDS tells me it was December 7 at 4pm. I called the 1-800 the next day for a quick question (since I knew the IDS wouldn't respond quickly, if at all), and they tell me its 1pm. Showed up at 1250pm, and they weren't even expecting me. Fortunately the car was there, and they quickly came together and got it detailed. Spent 2.5 hours at the Service Center filling out paperwork and was a happy recipient. Despite this sub par customer service experience, given how amazing the MX is thus far, I will definitely be a returning customer. I think this year was a bit more draining due to Fed Tax deadline.

How was delivery?
It went smoothly. The car was flawless. They wanted us to pay before inspecting it, but we insisted on looking over everything beforehand. They were apparently doing 50 deliveries yesterday, but it seemed to be a well choreographed procedure at Dedham now (compared to earlier: Just left the Dedham MA SC - People were loosing their *$@t). They had over 15 cars lined up 3 deep for delivery, and were replacing them and moving them around as deliveries happened. On one side was a line of 10 cars that were all trade-ins.

It was a far different process than when we got our S 18 months ago. It's a good thing we already know all about the car, because if I was new to a Tesla I feel like I'd have not been told enough about the car.
