Did you try: Find an electrician
It may take a while to install (permits, scheduling, etc.). A good licensed electrician should be able to do the work.

I would start very soon. It took about 3 weeks for ours to get installed (not including time to get a few estimates for the installation). Then, 1 week for the inspection.
Every house and situation is going to be different.
(Plus, you'll need to order the appropriate wall adapter for your situation).

While we don't live in Florida (so I can't speak to your state laws, or local laws), we needed a permit due to the nature of the changes we were making and how the wiring was being pulled.
I do live in FLA and while I did not install an HPWC, I didn't need any sort of permits to run a line for my 14-50 install. I had the capacity in my panel so it was just installing a breaker, run the wire and install an outlet. some locales have more invasive regulations than others.

Curious -- did you need to get the work inspected? I shouldn't be surprised how different the laws are anymore across jurisdictions... but I still am.
thanks guys.... i will call city hall and check, they said if a breaker isnt correct andf a fire starts at the house, insurances invalidate.....
They said the City would need to inspect the install afterwards, don't know for sure, i am calling today.

Sorry, I wasn't clear -- our township did an inspection upon completion of the work by a licensed electrician. High amperage circuits modifications/additions apparently are one of the triggers that require an inspection upon completion of work. Our electrician arranged everything. We just needed to be home for the 5 minute inspection.

From a desktop/laptop, the features can be found in the upper right corner of the web page in the menu. (click on the generic "head" icon that will be where my drawing is). You should be able to upload an image, etc.
Just a note on terminology for you new Tesla owners-- you're not installing a charger. The charger is in the car. What you're installing is the Wall Connector, which used to be called the High Power Wall Connector (HPWC), so that's an acronym you'll see a lot of here.
The Wall Connector and similar units for other brands with J1772 connectors are known as EVSEs, meaning Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment. It just connects the car charger to the house power with some electronics for safety to ensure there's a proper connection before allowing any electricity to flow.
This terminology can cause confusion when someone posts here about a bad charger. They think they're talking about a bad HPWC, but others think they meant the charger in the car went bad. It can lead to some amusing misunderstandings.

Thank you...I got my wall charger installed yesterday for $400 and it works perfectly !
It seems there is a shortage of legit installers, and most want to charge over $1000.....feels like I need to setup a network of specialists whose ONLY role is installing Tesla charging ports at home/business for $400-500 a hit.....would be endlessly busy and super profitable.
