I didn’t get a good picture of the top of the platform, but it is just a solid, level surface. Also, there appeared to be posts for 8 charging stations.

Yeah, unusual. Something similar was also just put in at the site currently under construction in Austin, TX. But there and here are the only ones I've seen like it: Supercharger - Austin, TX - Stonelake Blvd./Gateway

I assume this has to do with flooding risk.

It's probably not based on fear of flooding. The SC in Riverside, CA has the equipment up on a platform as well, and that one is on the top floor of a parking garage.

It probably aids in cooling with having free air space below the cabinets.

Lots of activity there today. Crew working on installing two street lights with a cherrypicker. There appeared to be a Tesla cabinet wrapped up in a blue tarp. They were also getting started on landscaping with bushes around the platform already.

I appreciate the reports! Coming up to Brewster in late September and trying to decide whether to bring my model S or rely on my spouse’s ICE.

No, it's up a hill. I suppose there could be some parking lot flooding though.

Was there today. There were loading the equipment on the platform. Thanks to all for the earlier suggestions.. we drove the Model 3 up, stopped at sagamore for a full top off. Have been trickle charging with an outlet ever since and has been just fine!

Looks like a lot of progress being made I will be up this weekend and then each weekend after that and by the site on Sundays.

It appears maybe they only work Monday-Friday. From what people are saying it looks like things are moving along, I wonder how you tell how much longer it will be until it is ready?

These are definitely V2 cabinets. V3 cabinets are larger and serve four stalls instead of two.

Not sure since these looks a little different from both current v2 (these don’t appear to have a hood on the back) but they also don’t match V3 which has a cheese grater style vented grill on the top portions.

In many other installations the hoods on the back of the cabinets were installed later, so this is normal.

That picture sure looks like the one I took yesterday at the east side of the Stop and shop in Orleans MA
Crew said it would be finished in about 2 weeks and ready for the inspector to sign off.

Yes, just like in the movie "The Money Pit"...

In actuality, it's more likely that the 2 weeks estimate was only for the work that the one particular crew was doing.

it could take two weeks (or longer) just for the local electric company to put the transformer in place.

I don't think we've seen the pedestals for this site yet either, and those have been holding things up all across the country.

From the pictures we've seen thus far, there's still quite a bit to do...

The Marathon Florida (Florida keys) supercharger is like this. Tesla thinking ahead on sea level rise/storm surges. Even if the chances are slim now, it might not be so slim in the coming years.
