After a few orders and changes last month, we just picked up our inventory discounted P100D today. It was produced in May 2018, has 2,750 miles and is almost cosmetically perfect. A bit of curb rash on one wheel. I found it in St Louis a few weeks ago and it was shipped to our local service center. Delivery was suppose to be last weekend but it was delayed a week mainly due to my schedule.

I’m not sure if I’m more pleased with the car or the deal I was able to find. The order agreement shows a savings of about $68k from the original msrp at the time after removing ludicrous mode. If I added in the sales tax savings and the federal tax credit, that is about $76k off what it would have cost at full price. If it were not for the crazy deals at the end of the quarter, I would still be happily driving our old S.

It looks almost identical to the 2016 S 60 I traded in, but the performance is unbelievable for a 5,000 lb car and the improvements over the last 2 years are nice. I’ve avoided test driving a dual motor performance model because I knew I would want to buy one. The last performance I drove was a P85 in 2013. The punch off the line for our new P100D was a lot more than I expected.

Tell me about it. My boss just bought a new P100D and on our way back from a meeting handed me the keys and said it’s “my turn”to drive. Mind you I’m no stranger to high performance cars but this too was unexpected and as if you were accelerating in a roller coaster— took my breath a way. Literally!

As a result I’m buying a P85D now :)

Great find, and car! Enjoy the ride...

What did you end up paying? I bought a very similar one too. Removed Ludicrous (still showing for the moment) for the $20k saving - $76k total.

I was looking at a 100D, but for only a few thousand more, found this car. Mine was $78,800 before taxes and fees. The MSRP was about $148k, but I think the current price would be $113k for a similar one with FSD. Mine has only EAP which I'm fine with. It's a big improvement over AP 1 I had before. Tesla really dropped the prices earlier this year. Good for new buyers, but I would be extremely upset/sad if I paid the full price.

I mean 2018 prices. His MSRP was 148k. You need some extra options to get to that price. It's not on the new models because pricing is different now

Base was 135k but included ludicrous

MSRP was before removing Ludicrous, which at that time was required. Removing it takes 20K off, so you can assume a MSRP of 128K, but that's with the old prices. Half of the discount from the ones sold last month was to get the price down to the current price, and then the other half was the actual discount. My car showed a 40K discount but the discount from a new one was closer to 25K. Ludicrous was its own 20K line item even though it was manufactured in Sep 2018 and removing Ludicrous just removed that line item, instead of increasing the discount.

If you look at the car, you can see it has the gray paint option, 21" wheels, and the inventory units at the time had EAP.

My MSRP was $150k (2018 New Inventory model - 1800 miles on it). FSD, Black, Premium interior.

I removed Ludicrous ($20k) and the 21" wheels ($4,500). Final Price was $76k + taxes (worked out to be around $9k in CA).

I would have loved a red one with a white interior but, after looking for a couple of months, wanted to jump on it. Couldn't be happier (received it last Friday).
