Outside Temp -26 Deg with limited Regen Braking

I had a similar situation with my 2020 S. Returned from FL to WI and after sitting in the garage a couple days I found no regen breaking....temps 35-45 degrees. I took it in for service and was told the batteries will not accept regen breaking at these temps....it just goes away! The temps are now higher and the regen is back.

If you precondition the Tesla for 20 to 30 minutes before driving the battery will be warmed along with the passenger cabin. You will have some but not full regenerative braking available after preconditioning.
