So are you saying the 18 inch tire/wheel and the 19 inch tire/wheel is the same total overall diameter?
They need to have the same overall diameter so the speed sensors read the same wheel speed side-to-side.

Here are 3 different OEM sizes for the Model 3 and their overall diameter:

235/45R18 - 26.3"
235/40R19 - 26.4"
235/35R20 - 26.48"

The wheel diameter is unknown to the car, the only thing it can detect is the overall diameter of the tire since it determines how fast the car is going using RPM!
