Overstay charge

Hi,
I received an overstay charge but my car was still charging and not 100% full, it was around 98%, I had a long trip so trying to get full charge. I thought I would only get an overstay/idle charge if the session had completed. I’ve checked the usual text on Tesla and it says once the session has completed. There were only one other vehicle charging at the time. Any idea what happened?

I would put in a service request on the app. The service center should be able to remote diagnose it.

You’re only supposed to get charged idle fees if you don’t disconnect 5 minutes after charging ends and the supercharging station is more than 50% full. Contact Tesla Support to dispute the charge — I don’t think Tesla Service can help with this.
