OVMS Module for Tesla Roadster
I am selling my OVMS Module as I no longer have my Roadster. If you have a Tesla Roadster, you want this module. It will give you, when combined with a free app on your phone, so much information in real time about your roadster (see below). You will need to get a SIM from a local operator and subscribe to a minimum SMS or data plan. Usually you can get low cost, low data tablet plans to add to your sim. The communications uses minimal data.
The OVMS Module will allow you do see and do things such as:
How long it has been parked
state of charge, progress while charging
Start or stop a charge
Get notification of interrupted charging (very very useful!)
ideal range, estimated range
Tire pressures and temperatures
Weather where the car is
temperature of the PEM, Battery and Motor
Remotely activate the Homelink garage opening buttons
Lock or unlock the car
Remotely turn valet mode on or off
Location of the car on the map (including actual speed if in motion).
See public charging stations (not so useful for Roadster unless you have the J1772 adapter)
Setup and installation is very easy.
