Owners Manual crashes Tesla's computer

Mine does the same thing! Tried to access Owners Manual tonight and 3 times it blew hot air then AC max. All screen controls froze. Then screen went black, Tesla “T” came on, and then it seemed back to normal. I’ll try a reboot tomorrow morning. SW 2021.4.18

Updated today to 24.11 and owner’s manual works fine and does not crash the system.

I am experiencing this on my 2021 Model Y. Fairly consistently. And occasionally when accessing the power graph.

Software 2021.3.104 Still waiting for the latest version to be available.

Have manually rebooted several times, no change.

I asked my service center and was told that the new updates are rolled out by vin. Mine was built in July and there hasn’t been one available to my car yet. Have a strong WiFi connection, so I am still waiting for the latest one.

When I try to open Software -> Owner's Manual and open anything in it, I see no manual, but instead the screen freezes and the AC starts to blow at full speed. Two-button reset or existing and closing the car help. I reproduced this several times. Basically, I can't open the Owner's Manual at all, and it crashes the computer. Am I alone?

Just updated to 2021.32.22at this point the owners manual seems to work as expected.

Did the same, seems to have resolved that issue. Now I am distracted with keeping a 100 safety score for the FSD beta....

Similar thing happened to me. I have 2021.32.21 on a Model 3. Opening the Owner's Manual causes everything to freeze.

Happy to report that my in car owner’s manual is once again usable after the upgrade to 2021.36! Yay!

In fact, I notice the whole system is faster, such as the transition into and out of YouTube.

Thanks to whomever at Tesla figured that nasty bug out. Must have been a fun one.

That’s an early 2021 version. I’m on 2021.32.21
