No, Tesla learned the hard way of the extra battery failures on pre v3 batteries, so they have no reason to cause more by allowing extra customers to do Ludicrous on those.

so instead, you are saying tesla would rather continue paying for warranty replacements of all v1, v2, and v3 batteries that have good chances of failing over the 8 year warranty period?

to me, taking 20k from the customer, loosing the warranty replacement worry, and increasing owner satisfaction of a p100 upgrade seems like a better option.
