Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I wanted to try and cover both Model S and Model X owners.
When the upgrade was first announced, I was sure that I read on here of a few examples of people initially also being charged for the AP update of about £400 without being consulted, but then having this removed by the SC after a discussion (Which I think is the correct thing to do).
However I am struggling to find the posts on this.
So if you have upgraded and have either not been charged the increase or did have the increase applied and then after a conversation with Tesla had it removed, can you post the details here?
Been on emails and calls with Tesla who are adamant that the policy is worldwide in that the price increase stands and nobody has had it removed, however I feel that this is not the right thing for them to be doing, not from a price but more the principle.
