That's ridiculous. I heard European customers that wanted the upgrade prior to delivery of their P90D were allowed to drive their car with the 90kWh battery until the 100kWh battery came in, then paid the lower upgrade price even though Tesla were taking back a used battery, not a new one. I think a call to HQ or a Tweet @jonmcneill would be in order to set things straight. Clearly Tesla HK is overworked, but this is crazy.

How much was your deposit? I might consider refusing delivery, losing the deposit and order a P100D from scratch off the website and starting over.

Biggest problem is the boat already docked! So car simply waiting for custom clearances. P100D is not even an option in the HK site yet.
