P100dl Or 100d

Hello,

Please chime in on what I should order. I have the option of ordering a P100DL at $107K for a showroom discount and being a current model S owner or a 100D at 99K. Is it me or the the answer pretty obvious? Both qualifies for the rebate incentives and free lifetime supercharging if I take delivery before the end of this month.

We have the 100d which is plenty fast for us but for 8k, that p seems like a deal

Are both of them pre-raven I'm guessing by the lifetime supercharging? In that case, P100DL all the way. $30k more car for $8k, so even though depreciation hits P100DL harder than the lesser trims, you've got a $22k "equity" (not really equity, but you know what I mean) in it right off the bat.

Tesla processed the deposit for the P100DL and now saying they don't ship from Texas to California anymore.

I picked up my late X75D from Dallas service center and drove it to Phoenix. No better way to get acclimated to your car that a road trip! And flights into Dallas were super cheap

Drive P100DL home, the memory will last forever! The inferior 100D decision you will want to forget. I have the former.....

While I think it's still a no brainier, you will probably find that you're P version will cost a lot more to insure. The 75, 90, and 100 are considered one trim while performance models are separate.

They shipped my X from Dallas to LA....then it spent 5 weeks in the body shop. Really not a bad option to drive it out or coordinate your own shipper.

You guy are really making a good case for me to fly out there. Driving back to California is a nice trip only if you have time. Time is what I don’t have right now.
