Does anybody have an idea why Tesla havent software updated the p85+ to 250 km/h. I understand that it has some of the best suspension Tesla has ever made?
The large motor is on its rpm limit on 140 mph( 225 Km/h) The P85D front motor is doing most of the work at high speed. Small motor 18,000 RPM at 155 MPH Larger motor 16,000 RPM at 140 MPH So the new small motor is better and more efficient at high speeds.
I did a speed run this morning in my P85D (w/2.4.188) and it topped out at 131mph. WTF? I thought 155mph was in this version? (btw: it took about 20 seconds from 0-130, slight uphill on the fwy entrance.) I was charged to 90% and had around 225 rated miles remaining. Maybe I just need more road?
