Does anybody have an idea why Tesla havent software updated the p85+ to 250 km/h. I understand that it has some of the best suspension Tesla has ever made?

The large motor is on its rpm limit on 140 mph( 225 Km/h) The P85D front motor is doing most of the work at high speed.

    • Small motor 18,000 RPM at 155 MPH
    • Larger motor 16,000 RPM at 140 MPH

So the new small motor is better and more efficient at high speeds.

I did a speed run this morning in my P85D (w/2.4.188) and it topped out at 131mph. WTF? I thought 155mph was in this version?
(btw: it took about 20 seconds from 0-130, slight uphill on the fwy entrance.)

I was charged to 90% and had around 225 rated miles remaining.

Maybe I just need more road?

If battery is low I dont think it do more than that. The P85D is really slow from 120 to 155 mph
