Just a pic for those trying to see if the frunk fits a carry-on legal suitcase (it does) or more (not much more).

How many grocery bags fit in the P85D frunk?

I'd estimate 3 or maybe four, but I'll check later today to confirm.

Did they do anything to strengthen the hood or otherwise fix the frunk crease problem?

Amazing that on the top of the line P85D that the front trim pieces are black plastic, not the chrome ones. Chrome adds a nice accent.

    Please no.

Chrome is tacky, and doesn't belong on a premium car.

You were an early S owner, right? As (I think?) you know, early Model S's had chrome there (mine did) and they got rid of that. Too many issues with scratching.

Looks like the P85D frunk is bigger than the Roadster trunk. When I get my P85D, I will try to do a comparison shot.

They're still available from the accessories shop online, $200 including installation if you really want them:

Thanks Aargau. This was really helpful. Much smaller frunk than i expected, but I'll manage. Will still be useful extra storage. Just not as much as hoped for.
