90% charge, 369km on the first day (mid august 2015)
100% charge @ 405km on the first week

90% charge, 362km at late December 2015 @ about 8000km
100% charge, 400km at late dec 2015 about 8000km

90% charge, 351km at late January 2016 @ about 10,000km
100% charge, 386km at late January 2016 @ about 10,000km

Very worried with battery fade, faster than expected, mainly use supercharger, 90%/100% charge about 60/40
lost 5% range for 10k km! by 100,000km will lost 50%???

My last car odo is 171,xxxkm in 6 years. I drive to work, NT to Island side roundtrip everyday.

As Tesla explained and has been discussed on this forum, charging to 100% should never be done unless you are going to drive it to 90% straight after charging, as it degrades the battery. A drop of your magnitude is fairly normal and if the experience of others is anything to go by, the fade will reduce to a few % a year.

using 90% charge figures, 18/369 = 4.8%
using 100% charge figures, 19/405 = 4.7%

from what i've read, the tesla batteries generally experience a 4-5% fade in the first year, it then slows down to 2-3% per year afterwards. your figures seem to suggest a fade of almost 5% within half a year.

i wonder if supercharging does affect battery life - there is cooling to prevent battery overheat etc, but you're still pumping a relatively large current into the car, compared to home charging at 25-45 km/h.

i came across this article, which seems to suggest that Supercharging is recommended to be used only when necessary...

All of the P85D in Europe did show around 15km less after the 7.1 update. Looks like HK has the similar numbers as Europe and not US so the same apply for your P85D.

Tesla have changed the typical wh/km for P85D from 189 to 196 in 7.1 and 85D did get more km shown as it did change from 186 to 176 wh/km

have no fear... :smile:
my P85D (14000km) after the 7.1 also 350-355km (for typical settings) before 7.1 361-366 for typical (small range for temp. bat. -5C - 20C)
my friend and his P85D the same...
Anyway, use the car between 10-90% or preferably between 30-70% SOC
... and usable 77kWh is true -> 85kWh is same like 691hp :biggrin: EMS = Elon Musk Style :cursing:
