    That is very impressive!!
I would love to see that same video with an additional regular S85 as well, to show the difference between all 3 versions at once.

Family is still sleeping so I lowered the volume when I saw drag race in the title before I pressed play...duh!

I'd love to see all 6 iterations of Model S side by side at once. We'll have to wait until the 85D gets delivered though.

That was impressive! It really puts how fast that thing is into perspective.

    Nice!

It's not too often that a P85 gets to feel what it's like to be on the other side.

Add in a Roadster (or maybe three: there was 1.5, 2.x standard and 2.x sport), and you'd really have something. You'd need a lot of lanes, though. :)

I just test drove the P85D and can testify that the video represents how the D feels compared to my P85. Read that it pulls 1.3 G up to 23 mph vs P85 0.7. So about double. 30-60 they felt about the same, 0.65 G. If it could hold 1.3G all the way to 60 it would mean 2 seconds flat :)

From the P85D's POV it looks like the P85 is standing still for about 1.5 seconds.

    It is almost silly absurd.

From the front and sides they would look identical except for wheel sizes, and from the rear would only differ in a single detail that would likely be unreadable in a group photo.
