The color palette differs depending on searching for new or used inventory cars or choosing a car to order.

Inventory New White, Black, Blue, Red
Order New White, Black, Blue, Red, Midnight Silver
Inventory Used White, Black, Blue, Red, Midnight Silver, Silver

Does this mean that Tesla doesn't put Midnight Silver Metallic Model 3 into inventory, and that it doesn't make any silver ones any more?

Silver was a short-lived color. They don’t make them any more. The only way they’ll be in inventory is if someone trades one in.
