Just dropped off my Blk/Blk MY at the Corsa Motorsports in orange county for paint correction, ceramic coating, window tint, all badges paint to satin black and few other things. This shop has to have the coolest shop lights. Anderson was the one who helped me with everything from consulting, scheduling and giving me constant updates as Im writing this. He even sent me a quick shot after tint was applied. I will ask for more photos of paint correction, ceramic coating process. Here’s my guys contact if you guys need anything for your Model Y. They also do PPF/Vinyl wraps as well. Corsa Motorsports Anderson - 800-350-6855 ext. 004
Triple black is very nice, I just got tired of trying to keep it clean. Every little rain event and it needed to be washed again. Heaven forbid there is any road construction in your area, and my area has been 3 years now, no idea when it will ever get done. Probably get away with it in southern CA, AZ or NV, but here in IL I got tired of all the washing...
If it makes you feel better, even in Southern CA, I was having to wash the car every few days haha. I think half our freeways are always under construction for decades at a time. I swore I'd never have a black car again and my new car is black again. Go figure.
Definitely hard to keep black exterior looking clean all the time. Main reason why I wanted to get it coated. I have all others cars coated and washing them has been soooo easy. I use master blaster to dry off the car and all waters just beads right off rarely need microfiber towel to wipe down
I just washed my Y this morning before the hot sun came out, I had the front PPF and the whole car Ceramic coating, it’s so easy to wash it and dry it up quick. I must say that the back of the Y gets dirty quick, you have to stay on top of it if you have a dark color like black and blue. Fred
I hear about this shop a lot. I like the "one stop shopping" aspect. I want tint/ceramic/powder coat wheels. I'll have to give them a call.
Yea they are very easy to deal with and always got my cars back on the promised date. Ask for Anderson he is great
Looks absolutely stunning! If you kept up with past post, black exterior is what I originally configured. Nevertheless, I get the chance to live vicariously through you, sir...
Multi stage paint correction & ceramic coating applied and Im absolutely in love! They were able to get rid of factory swirls, scratches and orange peels on paint. Nothing beats fully corrected black exterior haha next up is putting back the front & rear badges had them paint in satin black & Interior trim wraps
I like the interior wrap. It really pulls everything together. I’ve used spray based ceramics myself in the past year or two and I’m wondering if it would be worth it to take the plunge and get the real deal ceramic. Have been very impressed with the results so far on the Griot’s spray.
Wow I was just coming here to see if someone could recommend a shop in central NJ that does exactly this. I come across your thread and see your Y looking like a deep black puddle of water and I’m more motivated. I have the midnight silver and love what that shop has done to your car.
