I haven’t tried spray based ceramic coating so i can’t really compare but paint correction/ceramic coatings has been my top list thing to do on every car I own. It just makes maintaining so much easier especially on a darker shade exterior. I have used ceramic pro in the past (paid $3000-4000 includes paint correction) and Corsa uses Feynlab ($1000-2500 includes paint correction) which I love. Its just as good compare to ceramic pro (but cheaper, same results) couldnt be happier. I personally don’t trust myself evenly coating a vehicle, Id rather pay professional to do it haha and plus if anything happens they will warranty it.
Should of re-worded that correctly, with the Ceramic coating, it allows the Chemical Guys waffle towel to swiftly pick up all of the water without leaving any streaks, but then again those towels work great on any paint job. Fred
I had ceramic coating (Gtechniq Halo) on top of PPF (Suntek Ultra). Never again! You’d think the fact both are hydrophobic would make it super slick & stay that way. Wrong. Used Turtle Wax Seal n Shine to restore slickness & will continue to do so every 3 months. Tesla M3
I bought master blaster off amazon ($6xx) and I rarely ever need to use towels to dry off the car. water beads off immediately
Feynlab stuffs are amazing. I have Feynlab self heal on one of my cars its pretty impressive but it was very pricy. Also when I was talking to guys at Corsa motorsports, Feynlab supposedly makes the best PPF specific ceramic coating product
Reputable shop that does very high end cars so I don’t think they would use some other run of the mill coating. Also 3 year warranty on this job so it should hold up. Both model 3 & Y has Feynlab, so far very nice. Fred
Always been a fan of Rotiform LAS-R I will need to find someone to make me 20” turbofans though I want to rock turbofans for front two wheels
Im shocked. Fedex delivered an envelope from tesla today. It said MY Price Change and check amount of $3232.50 what a pleasant surprise. When I contacted my delivery specialist he straight up told me since im still within 7 day return period i can schedule to return the car. So I just said f it and kept the car since im so in love with this thing. Two weeks later I get this refund check? Im forever Tesla fan now lol FYI: Price change occurred less than 48 hours of me picking up MY.
Yes this is amazing customer service by tesla. I didn’t really try hard to get the difference back. Emailed once they told me no so i just left it at that. Time to get coilovers lol
