Paint Peeling

So I just got finished doing my weekly wash and was drying off my car when I noticed what I thought was some dry mud that I must of missed. I started wiping it with my microfiber towel and the paint started peeling right off. The car is 2 months old. This caused me to do an even more thorough look around and I also noticed the paint fading near the charger port door. Any idea if this is something Tesla will repair for free or any idea on how much this would cost to repair? Is this something I would be able to fix with Tesla's paint repair kid?

I came on to post about my own paint issue only to see this nightmare inducing post!

I would definitely at least contact Tesla to see what they can do about it.

Paint issues with Tesla, whats new... I contacted them, waiting for a response. At this point I'm expecting to pay for the repair but have no clue what it will cost.

Wow - NFG and unacceptable. Only thing to do is upload photos via the app and await their response.

Same thing happened to me. The car is two weeks old and the first time washing it with pressure washer the paint started peeling in the same area as in the pics just closer to the front wheels.
