I just bought a used (although only 1,100 miles) P85D and it has the clear film bra in the front and on the top of back bumper but I don't know how to check if a paint protective coating has been applied to the rest of the car.
Does anyone know how to check?

Look for seams either just on the edge of the panel or wrapped around the panel (MUCH higher quality job). Use a bright flashlight. They will be quite obvious upon close inspection.

Are you referring to paint coatings (CQuartz. Optic-Coat, Modesta, Gyeon, etc.) or paint film (XPEL, Suntek, 3M, Tesla's "Paint Armor," etc.)?
