Some strange “dust” or spray covering a windshield. Looks like paint spray, didn’t go away wish glass cleaner, have to try aceton or some paint remover though.

hard to see it except low sun at evening

Tried to get it on that picture.

anybody had such issue?

This issue has been brought up before. Since the body is painted long before glass is installed, this was likely overspray from a post-production touchup or repair. Razor blade should do the trick.

I had the same problem after some body work. Clear coat overspray got on the glass, which is really only visible when the light hits at the correct angle. Highly annoying though and can't be removed with normal glass cleaner. Here is what I had to do to get it off: Use Griots Garage window clay bar first, then use an orbital (with Glass polishing pads) and Griots Glass polish. The glass will be pristine when you are done. Car Care Products, Detailing Supplies, Auto Accessories - Griot's Garage 800-345-5789 has some very good videos on using all their products. You can also pay a detailer a few bucks to do the same.

I've used Bar Keeper's Friend, which is oxalic acid, on windshields for years to remove sap and road grime. Make a paste and rub. Use lots of water to flush.
