Painted handles

Does anyone have pictures of a car with body color painted handles? My handles are wrapped but I think I want to eventually get them painted.

My handles are wrapped in a matching body color gloss black. If you have a facelift S my understanding is that the handles are plastic and the paint doesn't "handle" well. The fancy way to do it is to buy the prefacelift metal handles and powder coat them. The handles are cheap enough. But the labor is like $1500 to retrofit them. I bought a set of metal handles but I am waiting to see how the wrap does. Likely I won't ever do it.

I heard it was temperature. That in the sun the metal handles held a scorching amount of heat. So in my case of black - bad news.

I wanted to powder coat mine but they are kind of a bitch to take off.
