Painting brakes what color?

We've got the same car on the outside. Changing the brake color would definitely improve the look. But on a red car, red brakes seem overkill.

Do you know what color wheels you eventually want?

I really think that I will go with Red if I do it, you can never have to much red...

The reading I've done on plastidip forums suggests there is no issue with it on calipers, and that was on ICE cars.

Ya, maybe if you don't use your brakes a lot and drive like a grandma. Why use plastidip when there is brake caliper paint that is ceramic to handle the temperatures? It will last longer too.

Because with plastidip you can easily remove the color if you are not happy. And you can change it up every month since the material is so easy to work with.

Agree with Father Bill. On a red car, red calipers and dark/black wheels is a MUST to highlight the red calipers.

But if you want to be different, gold or white calipers with silver wheels will look good. :wink:

A bit off topic but...

I'm a big fan of matching these pieces to the body color. Makes the car look lower to the ground. This, along with a matching nose cone, is a big reason why I chose black.
