For me, All depends on looks. I still love the look of the X in current form. But If interior only has one screen or even horizontal then no. I like the two.

They also mentioned the Palladium Model S. I imagine it would be an improvement, along with the X, being new and redesigned, but I really would have a hard time giving up my gorgeous blue Skye Cruiser. 400 miles of range? Check! Comfort? Check! Performance? Check!! And as you can see in the photo to your left, it's also a chick magnet!
What if they kept the instrument cluster and gave you the model 3 screen? Still two screens

Idk. Don’t give me wrong I love how it looks in the Y & 3 definitely futuristic but also minimalistic. I would rather see them make it wider but also still keep it vertical. For me it looks a little more elegant/upscale but also keeping a more traditional form. It’s just my opinion, I bet if they released the 3&y style in it I’d end up loving it too. Lol. I think keeping the higher end a little different then the middle line is also nice too. Have to keep something different to justify the price differences.

Still Trying to Figure This All Out
The only thing I would update on my original Model X was the range. It's a 90D but still could use 50 miles more range.
Everything else I see in the new cars I like better on my original.
For the very few long range trips I take these days it's really no big deal. A few more superchargers in strategic locations would fix that for me.

It would be great if he announced on battery day the option for people with older model cars to be able to purchase newer style packs that would increase range and also decrease degradation for people that love their cars but just want better range. That would be game changing.

Well I will call your 50 and raise it another 50. I would need an "advertised" range of minimum 450 miles to tempt me to upgrade.
My wish list for Plaid Model X:
Dual pane windows / Reduced noise in cabin
Keep 2 screens but make the main screen horizontal
Have model 3 / Y like storage compartments
Model 3 like 2 Phone wireless charger (I like that location on model 3/Y. Very Glance-able)
Improved seats and more leg room for 3rd row in 7 seater option
Heat pump HVAC like Model Y
No key operation like Model 3/Y
500 Mile range like Cybertruck
350kW/500kW charging capabilities
million mile bumper to bumper warranty
more interior and exterior color options
window sun-shades
remove falcon wing door and put large glass roof like Model Y

Well you almost had me - until you removed the falcon wing doors. Those are the X's signature.
I agree those are "Signature" of Model X but its just my personal opinion that I can't help likeing the huge glass roof of the Model Y better. Its just amazing.

I did the same. Cancelled they Y order. X is the better car overall I feel.
