Interestingly, a pack of 38 of these would contain 57 kWh and weight 38 x 8 = 304 kg, quite lighter than Roadster's ESS. Purportedly, lithium-nickel-oxide chemistry is the least safe "flavor," so all the safety mechanisms are already built in.

I'd love to have one of these for the e-bike idea I'm working on ...
