Was heading out to pick up some dinner for the fam over the weekend and decided to open the windows and enjoy the nice evening.
Sliding the Pano Roof open I heard a terrible (and loud) CRACKING sound.
I stopped the roof, got out of the car and saw that the arm that pops up the wind deflector on the driver's side had broken clean in two (apologies for the crappy pics - it was night and dark in my garage):
There was a big and stout spring now sticking up that usually helps the deflector pop-up, so I was worried about it damaging the glass of the Pano Roof. Luckily, I was able to get the roof closed and sealed without any damage (that I'm aware of) from the spring.
Tesla's coming out on the 16th to repair it so all should be good, but I wanted to let everyone know about this since I don't recall hearing any reports of broken wind deflectors like this.
I'll let you know how the repairs go.
