OK. Not a photographer but here are the images. I drove with pano open at speeds up to 65mph. No problem. Very secure. At lower speed my perception is that the wind noise is less. At upper speeds wind noise about the same.

Interesting that you were able to run with the roof open and it installed. I love having the roof open, but sometimes having the sun bearing down is a bit too much. It'd be kind of nice to have the roof open but tone down the sun a bit.

Are there two pieces, one for the front, one for the back, or just the front? Edit for answer: Two pieces, one for each half of the roof.

Giz: That is why I got it and to hopefully cut down/change the wind noise. Seems to work well for both, but as I mentioned before, wind noise helped most at low speeds.

It looks a bit 'baggy' in the photos, I would have expected it to be a little more taught. Does it flap much when going at speed?

Pete.....No it fits very snugly/not baggy at all. IMO, it will hold up well at speed and no flap/movement that I can see/hear. I put it in last night and did not think it had too many creases. When I saw it this AM it does appear to have a couple. The rear hatch one had a couple creases when I got it a while back but they all flattened with time. I expect this one will do the same.

Glad I'm not the only one! Guess I'm too used to Seattle's grey weather... can't deal with full sun!
I'd still be afraid this could flap around at speeds or in high winds, though.

It almost makes the 20% setting usable, although it still doesn't protect against bird dropping the way the 15% did. Now I just have to wonder if I should take it out for shows because it reduces head room.

Here's Tesla's answer so far. Does anyone have a copy of the website at the time?

"I’m not personally aware of the sunshades for the panoramic glass roof ever being offered as standard equipment. I’m going to defer to our regional sales manager to confirm or clarify this and either have him contact you directly or follow up with you once I’ve heard from him."

I'll have to go the safe deposit box and look at my due bill, but I'm almost certain my delivery specialist noted the absence of the pano roof sunshade as well as the storage cubby and the parcel shelf (both of which I later received).

I linked to it in the first page of this thread:

I just picked a date from archive.org after I took delivery. Someone with more patience than me could figure out when they actually removed it from the site.

I hope this helps. There are two rectangular pieces that come twisted and folded in a nylon pouch. If you've ever seen a folding frisbee, thats the idea. So, you twist them, and they open into two rectangles, one slightly smaller then the other (for the front part of the roof). They have a flexible wire frame, with fabric mesh attached. They pop right into the recessed area between the headliner and the glass. Its pretty much idiot proof. I havent tried driving with them yet. I suspect they'll work fine, but I'm a bit disappointed. My wife's GMC acadia has retractable shades that are much nicer.
