Parking Brake

My Model X just had its 4 year service a couple of days ago. Today I open it to some warning chimes and two messages: "Parking brake may not be applied - Press and hold Park button to reset", "Parking brake not applied - Vehicle may roll".
Neither were true because I could not drive out of the garage because the parking brake would not release. I rebooted, no change. In four years this has never happened but now 2 days after being serviced the car in immoveable but fortunately at home. Any similar stories and any suggestions? I left a message at our service centre but nothing yet.

So sorry to hear this happened to your MX. I have not had a pure "service" on my MX per say - just a few spot repairs. My park break has never displayed any sort of message. Hope the mobile team can fix this for you quickly so you can get back on the road.

Just started getting this message today - anyone else see this in their Model 3? Not a ton of hits on the site but the few I found suggest a failed brake caliper.

Mine seems to be making a noticeable 'parking sound' on engagement, but no issues so far.

Did you try to follow the message “Press and hold Park button to reset”?
Once you do that, a “P” sign will show up on the dashboard.
Let us know how will it go after you do that.

You left a message? For something like this, I would open an Emergency Road Service ticket (similar to a flat tire) even if it is in your garage. That will generate action quickly.
