Part number suffixes - what do the letters mean?

I have been keeping a lookout on the Tesla Parts Catalog website for any changes to the 2021 model year parts, particularly to the suspension (springs and dampers). I noticed the part suffixes are "-A", "-B" and "-C". Does anyone know if B and C mean these are superseded part numbers and A was the first release?

Yes. Each time Tesla revs a part, they increment the letter at the end. People pay the most attention to the suffix on the battery packs.

So...this is interesting to me for the rear suspension - there may be a rev for the 2021 model year that aligns with the anecdotal infomation that the ride quality has improved:
