Participated in a BMW autocross event yesterday.

Yesterday I participated in BMW's "Ultimate Driving Experience On Tour," in which participants drove the 330i with the M package around an autocross course, accompanied by BMW racing instructor. Many of you, I'm sure, have participated in one of these, or something similar, so I won't belabor the details. A few things came to mind while I was tearing around the track in the 330i:

• Were it not for Tesla, I would have been really impressed with the 330i.
• Holy cow, the 330i is slow off the line. My non-Performance 3 would leave it in the dust. I wanted to laugh out loud.
  
• Tesla really needs to start their own touring event like this, using Performance Model 3's.

Tesla rented me a 330ix while I was waiting for my Model 3 (long story)
Bottom line, that car is an embarrassment. And that is coming from someone who owned a 325i several years prior. BMW is toast.
