Passenger side seatbelt came lost

Anyone else had this happen to their M3? Surprisingly, Tesla is charging me for this not under warranty. It’s the only item I had not fixed under warranty so far. Last week they fixed my charging door under warranty. I’m curious if the seat belt would fail in this state if a crash occurred.

What is the problem? (I can't tell from the picture.)

If you are just complaining about how high up it is that is normal, as the seat belt is attached to a fixed spot and the long cable allows the seat to be raised without running in to the upper portion.

Well I'll be darned. Thanks for letting me know that. It saved me a trip to the service center. Take a look at this pic. This is how the passenger seatbelt has been for the past three years of owning my M3. The little plastic protection tube thing, the lip of it catches in the seat belt housing like in this new pic. It just popped out last week which is why I submitted the ticket. I thought it had broke. But this is it's normal state and previous to that, if I had got into a wreck, the seat belt would have loosened about 3" before catching. Kind of scary but glad to know it's working now as to compared to what it was. I had no idea it was supposed to be like it is in the first pics and not in the one I just posted now.
