Hi!
I recently had my windshield cracked due to a large rock on the highway. I sent my M3 to a Tesla Service Center to get my windshield replaced.
After the first replacement, I noticed excessive wind noise coming from the passenger side akin to someone leaving the window cracked open. The noise was present at about 50mph and got progressively louder as my speed increased.
I sent my M3 in for a second windshield replacement and instead of fixing the problem, I now experience the wind noise starting at around 35-40mph! I also noticed a gap in my windshield and that I am missing a plastic cover over the hinge on the passenger side.
Just wanted to see if anyone knows if this gap is normal or not as I'm trying to see if that's the cause of the wind noise. I previously had no wind noise issues prior to getting my windshield replaced.
I've attached pics of the passenger vs driver's side for reference.
