Order accessories and browse the forum and read as much as you can about the car. That's what I've been doing. Luckily I was going to order all weather mats for the car, but seems like the ap2 cars mat layout are a bit different so I'll have to wait on that.
What car do you currently have?In my case, I'm trying to sell my current car that the X is going to be replaced with. No interest as of yet.
This forum have been very useful. Between browsing this forum and reading this manual, I don't need a delivery specialist to give me the run down on the car when I receive it. It's also because I don't have a delivery specialist to show me the car. Lol
December? That's right around the corner! I have to wait until March for my X (Netherlands).K my MX is due for delivery in first week of December the wait is on.
I'm obsessing something fierce at this point, what are the recommended time killers to get my fix until delivery?
Any word on when you will be taking delivery?K my MX is due for delivery in first week of December the wait is on.

I too share the pain... waiting for my 2010 Prius replacement!
Out of curiosity did you sell or trade in your Prius? We are trying to figure out what to do with our 2011
at least your car is expected the second week of December mines hasn't even gone into production nor can my DS confirm 100% that when I will even see it. I just hope I don't slip into 2017. I specifically asked for a early December delivery.....My Tesla says its still in production Last update from DS was that it should be ready the first full week possibly the second week in December
I have sold my wifes Acura CL type S through Car Max and I think they priced it pretty well. This was 10 years ago so I don't know if the practice is still the same but they offered pretty much a similar price as to what Kelly blue book would have sold it for on fair condition.@SUMD How did carmax compare to say kelly bluebook pricing? was it fair or lowball
Mines must be the oldest, I am replacing my 2003 Honda Civic SI. The car actually still runs but I am going to be driving the Tesla more. It was my bachelor car before I met my wife lol!. Now I have a daughter so comes the Model X.Likewise, and I confirmed on 10/18! It doesn't help that the car this is replacing (2005 Prius) died on Sunday so I'm on a rental car until delivery...
My situation is slightly unique.
My initial plan was simply to go to Carmax and sell the car for whatever they were willing to give me. I simply don't have the time to entertain private offers. Also, I've heard Tesla doesn't offer as much as Carmax.
Then it turns out that a family friend is looking for a used car. So I agreed to sell him the car for whatever amount Carmax would have bought it for.
Tesla will actually match a CarMax quote, which allows you to save money on sales tax in most states over CarMax or a private sale.
It sounds like you already have a plan, but maybe this will become helpful in the future.
