Passive-entry and auto-locking misbehaving

Ever since the first V10 update people have been reporting that after the update their cars were seemingly unlocked with the mirrors out. I experienced this, too but the issue is, perhaps, more extensive. Since then the passive-entry option on the menu has been flipping between greyed-out and not, plus the car doesn't auto-lock (well, about 80% of the time). Approach the car with your key and it unlocks 100% of the time, though.

Yesterday, my wife was able to drive the car without her key being out of its faraday pouch (the pouch works fine - I tested it). She had entered the car via the app. She did need to execute Pin 2 Drive, so the car couldn't have been casually stolen even if entry had been achieved.

Nevertheless, the key security system is up the creak.

Is anyone else experiencing this? It might be a Model S specific problem, I don't know for sure. Tesla has agreed to send a Ranger to fix it and another issue (no date set yet, though).
