1 Hotel South Beach is a 5-star, luxury boutique resort that occupies an entire city block on Collins Avenue, South Beach Miami and sits directly on 600 feet of pristine beachfront. It is the first “Eco Chic” brand of CEO Barry Sternlicht, who founded the W Hotel brand.

They use Teslas as their house car to transport guests around Miami Beach. Currently they only allow Teslas to be parked out front and have three full power Tesla High Power Wall Connectors in their driveway.

Candidly the resort is both exclusive and expensive with normal nightly rates starting at over $500/night.

We received an excellent rate of $329/night for a 700 sqf ft King Room with wrap around couches based on a minimum two night stay. A 20% discount off any other room type is also offered. Our club is being provided these special discounts without a minimum committed block of rooms.

Club members may extend their stay at this rate by adding nights directly before or after our weekend dates.

The resort will also provide complimentary Valet parking and Charging stations upon availability for all Teslas.

THE MAIN POOL DECK, with concrete insets of sand, custom-designed daybeds and cabanas, and 180-degree ocean views from any vantage point.
THE SAND BOX, AT THE MAIN POOL DECK, with a live-edge wood bar top that spans the length of the 26 bar stools, lounge-style seating, and sand pits underfoot.
THE CABANA POOL DECK, with a waterfall, an intimate bar, a pool that can transform into a large hot tub, six cabanas and two ultra cabanas.

THE SOUTH POOL DECK & LAWN, with open sun all day and a dedicated area for Bocci and table tennis. This is the largest pool at the hotel and closest pool to the ocean.

THE 1 ROOFTOP with incredible views, incredible views, and incredible views. Plus a pool table, ping pong tables, ultra comfy banquettes, chaise lounges, platform beds and cabanas. This is an adults-only area for 21 and older has a rooftop pool, bar and lounge.

NORTH EAST TERRACE, with lounge pits, built-in tent pole bases and a low knee wall right to the ocean.

THE ATRIUM, a gallery with skylights, a grand balcony area and sculptures and artworks inspired by nature.

THE MAIN BALLROOM, with 6,500 square feet of space, complete with eight adjoining breakout rooms, architectural lighting, and a 20-foot green wall made of living moss.

ULTRA CABANA

Unwind in an Ultra Cabana — each is furnished to provide a relaxing, luxurious refuge for up to ten people. Lay back in the private chaise lounge chairs, a generous sofa and a dining table that can accommodate six. Our expert wait staff serves food and beverages to your liking, as well as plenty of towels and sunscreen.

On July 8th a small group from the Southwest and Southeast Regions spent a couple of days at a unique 5-star hotel, 1 Hotel South Beach. We also took the opportunity to organize an impromptu meet-up at 1 RoofTop, the fabulous rooftop lounge, with some of our local club members. We had a total of 14 members and their guests and the General Manager of RoofTop treated our group to a few cocktails. Following that we had a fantastic dinner at the Beachcraft Restaurant.

1 Hotel South Beach is an ideal place for Tesla owners to spend some time. It is exceptionally environmentally conscious. Three Teslas serve as the “house cars” dropping off guest at points of interest along South Beach. The hotel also has three Tesla High Power Wall Connectors managed by valet operations. Valet services were complimentary for Tesla owners.

If there is interest, this location would a good place for club members in the Southeast Region to meet on a recurring basis.

There are two HPWCs at the hotel entrance and one at their garage. Here's a Model S charging in front of a Rolls Royce.

At 1 RoofTop there is a bar and lounge, the only rooftop pool in South Beach and luxury cabanas. Diane, Greg, Rachelle, Don, Donna, Mary Ellen, Larry, Barbara, Ed, Brett, Deana, Chris, Denise, Joe and Sidi.

We had a fantistic dinner with excellent service at the Beachcraft Restaurant by Tom Colicchio. Tom is a five-time James Beard Award winner and author of three cookbooks. He has served as head judge on “Top Chef” since 2006.
