Paying by Check

I paid by Cashiers Check because I was nervous about giving Tesla payment before even seeing the car.

In case it helps others this is what I did:

1. I financed part of the car with an auto loan from my bank
2. I provided this info to Tesla, and they generated the MVPA doc
3. I sent my bank the MVPA and Insurance, they said come in and pick up the check
4. They gave me a cashiers check with total amount owing made out to Tesla Motors Inc, and my name and RN in the memo
5. I contacted by SA, and they sent me an email to reply to where I attached a photo of the check
6. The app still showed awaiting payment, but the car was delivered to my house (As I live in the South Bay Area)
7. I inspected the car, and gave the deliver driver the check, and he updated the system via his app
8. I had to log out of the Tesla app and log back in to see the transaction was completed and I could pair the new car

All up pretty smooth - even though Tesla make it less obvious that paying by check is possible...
