Do Canadian buyers have to pre-pay for the car prior to delivery, or can they just bring a bank draft on the same day?

Also, since the deposit is "fully refundable" but new cars are no longer eligible for returns, does that mean any payment beyond the initial deposit is non-refundable?

We paid with a bank draft in Vancouver after we saw the car. Car was flawless.

Back in 2018, it was to Tesla Motors Canada, but your sales advisor should be providing you with that information via email when it's close to pick up your car.

yes its still tesla motors canada. the sales rep will walk you through all of this closer to the delivery date

@user20 whether it's paper or electronic may depend on whether you're doing a touchless delivery. Mine was touchless and I did an electronic payment a couple of days before, not a draft.

You should have a delivery advisor whose job it is to answer this stuff, unless your delivery is still a way off?

I discovered today that the name used for wire transfers is "Tesla Motors Canada ULC". Did others use this name too? I read that the ULC structure only exists in Alberta, Nova Scotia and BC.

I'm in Ontario and was instructed to use "Tesla Motors Canada ULC" too.
