So as I was driving in my residential neighborhood, a couple walking their dog did waved to me while doing a peace () sign. Now my question is - is this a new Tesla wave that I'm unaware of, or because of my unkempt hair and unshaven face they assumed I'm a hippie, or they're just really big peace fans?

Peace sign is the universal "wassup" . Sometimes waving makes the other person think you are trying to get their attention.

Thats been the "universal" "nice car!" sign for as long as I can remember, at least from what I have experienced (and done).

I use the two-finger "peace" wave when I think I see a kindred spirit. Even on my motorcycle, which technically means "keep two wheels down" in the biking community.

It really all depends upon if they were showing you their palm or the back-of-the-hand, while flashing the two-fingered peace sign, to know exactly what they were thinking.

Back in the day, girls would give you the t-shirt wink, its kinka like a
peace sign but they put there breast into it. Today maybe just a wave or
