I received my white M3 LR in December and noticed in the last few weeks that the drivers side front bumper where it meets the front wing has discoloured compared with the wing - seems to have yellowed. The nearside looks fine however. I’ve had no repair done / damage and looking at a photo on delivery day - bumper and wing look uniform white.
I started to try and figure out why the bumper has yellowed - is it because my drive is south facing and prolonged sun exposure can cause this? Or what I’m using to clean the car - but it has always been hand washed by me with autoglym shampoo. However today whilst charging at Maidstone supercharger a 71 plate white M3 also turned up and had exactly the same issue.
Do other pearl white owners have the same issue? Is this a warranty claim? In all the cars I have ever owner / leased I’ve never had an issue such as this and I’m concerned it will deteriorate further.
