No, but a good idea for front bumper, to save repainting, and repair of the inevitable rock chips and dents..

Yep, exactly what I want this for! There’s not a ton of info out there but I ordered a couple of samples of 2 different colors that according to some old posts might be an ok match, I’ll update the thread once I receive them.

I’ve heard that one definitely doesn’t match the OEM paint as it is a much warmer tone. Have you tried it?

I have it on my door handles, and it is not a perfect match. It looks whiter than the OE pearl white, but it's not bad.

It's also due to the nature of the pearl. The color changes slightly with the curves of the car. The flat door handles don't allow for this color shift, so they look "whiter". Look at your parking sensors and you will see what I am talking about.

Update: 3M 2080 GP240 Gloss White Gold Sparkle on the left and 3M 1080 SP240 Frozen Vanilla on the right. None looks perfect but SP240 seems like the closest match to me

I bought some of the 3M Satin Pearl White and it definitely does not match. It is too bright white

Got a sample of the SP240 and it looks close, but still not the same

The nose cones on the Model S are actually painted black. Your best bet is to simply send it to a body shop and have them paint the cone with Tesla Pearl White.

Use clear, no color match problem ... I really mean use Xpel paint protection film. It's purpose is protection while a wrap's purpose is color change. I did my whole car, the bumper is easy. DIY PPF on 2022 Blue Model S
