In that case, you'll need to look for a 12v powered auto or marine speaker to get that much more volume. The audio output from EV-HORN is just line-level audio out.
I recently bought these speakers for another project, but would need an accessory auto amplifier to go along with them:
Great question.. but unfortunately I don't have a Model 3 to use to come up with a good installation guide. Part of the problem is there is no OBDII port, so the first challenge would be finding a suitable +12v source to connect the 5v USB power adapter. I know it's possible to connect it directly to the 12v battery, but I suspect not a lot of people would want to do that, so I'd need to find a more accessible/easy to tap 12v always-on power source. Then I'd have to find a convenient place to place the EV-Horn module box (2"x3"x1") and the speaker. If anyone has any helpful suggestions, I would be grateful.
Also, I have a few circuit boards left for this unit. I'd have to order more parts, so if there is interest for a few more units at $109 (including shipping), please PM me. There would be a few week wait for parts, so January delivery.
