Perf Y Spoiler coming off?

I think it's just got to be put on better. Carbon fiber doesn't flex so it's not going to forgive mistakes in alignment or weak adhesive.

Some people are buying aftermarket ones that are plastic. They are going to be a lot easier to apply and stay on better because you have that little bit of flex. Nothing wrong with plastic. I seen one in a parking lot that matched the model Y really good because it went with the door handles and wheel arches.

For anyone wondering. Here is the pics of RPMs Performance plus CF spoiler. Held from the get go and I think I would have a heck of a time getting it off now. Happy with how it looks. Also put their CF mirror caps on.

As promised, some more pictures, kind of forgot until it was already back in the garage and I was trying to beat the rain. Tried to get a couple angles 🤷‍♂️.

Are those the real carbon mirror caps? Have you noticed a decrease in cellular, wifi, gps reception?
I also have the RPM C/F Mirror Caps (but in glossy), haven't noticed any decrease in cellular/wifi/gps.

It works. I attached mine over a year and half ago. It still looks perfect. I posted what I used in another thread about this for the model 3 but your right. I used better 3m tape, adhesion promoter and, black silicone.
Do you mind sharing exactly which 3 M tape, adhesion promoter and black silicone you use? If only one side is coming off do I need to removed the entire thing then reattach it?

BTW, did you remove it using dental floss?
Thanks in advance.
