Performance pedal covers

Is there really a difference between 3rd party pedal covers (e.g. Performance Pedal Covers for Tesla Owners) and the official Tesla ones (Model S/X Performance Pedal Set)?

Price. That's about it. To be honest, even the EXANNEX ones are overpriced. I've had a set of $20 Topfits from Amazon on my MS for close to 3 years and they look like they did when I bought them.

I got the RPM Tesla matte chrome pedals and dead pedal for the side. Looks great and relatively cheap. Quality is solid.

The cheap ones (I got some) are cheaply made, they are not cast aluminum, but coated plastic. they have worked fine for me for the most part, but the coating on them is uneven and if you look closely you can tell they are plastic.

Which cheap ones did you get? The ones I linked from amazon are definitely aluminum and look fine even up close.
