As has been the case in the past, underlined badging referred to ludicrous mode. It’s possible they changed that, but could be possibility.

I think just a D for a badge would look better. Maybe a PD or just P for performance.
    Or nothing

Is this someone's Photoshop job, or is this an unfortunate reality?

That is gawd awful, and I would be extremely disappointed if I paid for a performance and got that graffiti on my car.

He probably encourage the millennials in the office to take more initiative. That is seldom a good idea.

What does AWD (non-P) show? I kind of assumed there would be a badge for that one since I thought car manufacturers needed to display AWD per law (effects towing and access to certain roads in bad conditions)

I am unsure on the execution but I like how understated it looks. Not flashy, but if you know the car, it pops out.

I have a feeling the underline might just signify a P model for the 3. AWD has dual motor with no line? I am just speculating, I still don’t have access to configure.

Red underline as P or Ludicrous... does it matter if the acceleration was still 3.5? I was hoping for a software unlockable Ludicrous mode in a few months when the competition fights back... 3.5 is just too close for comfort to the ICE competition.

This goes against the simplicity in the rest of the Model 3. I don't like it either, that's an eyesore.

    Spoiler is the P badge.

Though I've read you will -maybe- need the dual motor badge if you are driving in the snow in California without chains?
