I picked my car up in San Francisco today. I expected chaos but the place was actually quite serene, and I was in and out in just over 30 minutes. They let me look the car over before signing the paperwork and I couldn't find any flaws. They were happy to accept a personal check as payment (which I found surprising).

I'm absolutely thrilled with it so far. It's amazing to drive and the ride is remarkably comfortable despite the large rims. I did run into one rather significant problem though - I have a very steep driveway with a fairly sharp transition from the sidewalk to the hill. The car can't clear that without scraping the bottom. Guess I'll have to park it on the street and look into smoothing out that transition

Just got the message, you car is in transit & ready to be delivered. Woo-hoo, this forum has been great while waiting. I feel like regardless of when we ordered during this particular quarter, our U.S., especially west coast orders will arrive during the last week of the quarter.

Picked up and looks perfect to me. Didn’t get crazy with the inspection but I'm of the mind that ignorance is bliss in this situation. If something doesn’t jump out at me then it's fine.

Besides one tiny scratch in the rear passenger door well, the car is perfect!!!

Update after driving the car and got home. The steering wheel is not centered at all. Made an appointment but will try to get in sooner since it’s only 1 day after delivery. Everything else is fine. But my worst luck in Phoenix freeway, got a rock chip!!’ %{*}*}+}*!!!! so windshield has a star crack.

Ouch I thought I had it bad scratching up the bottom (fortunately in a hard-to-see area) the first time I pulled in to my driveway. All I can suggest is to think positive - I can confirm that it's an amazing car, so once you have the alignment and windshield issues sorted I'm sure you'll love it!

Happy to hear you guys are getting your cars in good condition. Tesla didn't realize mine would be stuck on a truck until Tuesday likely. Damn contract auto transport companies!

How big is the lip to get into your driveway? I have a neighbor with a Porsche who takes her driveway in an angle, if that helps.

I was worried about how the lip on the trunk lid would look on the white model 3 performance and couldn't find any good pictures of it. Thanks for posting the picture it looks great.

I'm in Niagara Falls. I ordered my White/Black on Sept 6th. The sales rep sent me VIN on the 19th nothing online, I got my USAA insurance on 20th. The delivery specialist emailed on the 21st asking for final payment. I made final payment on 22nd and he called that evening and scheduled an appointment for the 26th. I have to do a 6 hour road trip but I'm very excited about getting my M3P!

Picked up yesterday in Costa Mesa, Ca. Body fit and finish looks good except for a bit of orange peel if you look just right at the white paint. Interior has floor mats but frunk does not. They said the 2 year supercharging will go active in my account on Oct 1st. It was a hot day and after switching drivers with my wife I notice the AC quit working even though the light is on. On the way home it continued to work sometimes and othertimes not, made appointment at SC for Tuesday. Noticed a rattle in the dash behind the glove box but it could be the tow eye that was not stowed correctly. The road to my house is about 25 miles of twists and turns and the car driving dynamics are amazing on this road, the instant torque and regen braking really give you a sense of precise control on the road.

Yes - i paid $300 for it. And i just got the text and have pickup scheduled for Wednesday. Hoping they can install the homelink module prior to delivery.

This was a big problem for me, too. I literally had to *hound* them about it. Once I told them that I couldn't get them their money and would have to cancel the delivery date unless they got me a correct PA, they finally got the ball rolling. It took them five attempts before they finally delivered a correct PA to me, which I could then forward to my CU for financing.

When you do finally get a PA, make sure you look it over carefully. Make sure it is correct before you forward it to your credit union.
