Please tell us your experience with the I-Pace. We had looked at them but decided that they were $20k overpriced and probably would not have proper updates like Tesla.

I only got my MVPA and VIN in source, can’t even apply for Tesla insurance yet. Already forwarded MVPA to my CU who overnighted the check which will show up tomorrow morning, and paid my down payment via ACH, so nothing else to do on my part. No response from SA (yay) and Fremont sales was to busy to answer. No delivery text.

my vin finally showed up in source. on my mvpa, it has the first credit union i thought i was going to finance with, then found the 1.99 rate with myeecu, so i went with them. does it matter which financial institution is on the mvpa? i mean, tesla is getting their money one way or the other right lol. i'll email my SA, maybe he can edit that real quick before i send it to my CU.

The I-Pace definitely had a few things going for it. The driving experience was its biggest strength. Quite a bit nicer to drive than the Model 3 and that was on 22” wheels. However, most everything else was a nightmare. I’m pursuing a buy back due to a recurrent error that Jaguar couldn’t figure out. It even lost all power once while driving on a busy street. Obviously not safe to drive anymore. The software was also horrible and they are only now rolling out OTA software updates and only to a very limited number of systems. The battery was inefficient and had pretty bad range for its size. I would definitely call it overpriced though there are a few things I will miss. The seats were awesome.
Overall, definitely looking forward to the switch.

My quote for Tesla insurance was $125/mo. Way too high. That’s about what I pay per month to insure both the M3 and X, with higher coverage and lower deductibles through Ameriprise (Costco).
Funny enough the M3 is less expensive to insure than my i3 it is replacing... when I commented on it the agent helping me mentioned that was because the Teslas have so many active safety features to prevent it from getting into an accident in the first place.

Nooooo!! Still nothing. No mvpa. No updates to my page. No response from my SA’s backup or delivery specialist. No response from the one text I got after I chatted in last night and no test for delivery. I can’t finish my insurance application either! Order date 11/6. This is really frustrating seeing everyone else with delivery :/

Hopefully you'll get it today. I threw a lil fit yesterday and went to Teslas website and chatted with someone online. Got a call from Tesla later that day and complained a bit how the bay area and California has been forgotten. Long story long, got a delivery text this morning and I'm scheduled for Saturday at 12. No MVPA yet, but I'm sure its coming.
Try going online if you haven't already, they have to chat and follow up with a phone call. Hope you get some traction soon.
That's insane they are making you drive out to Dublin, better ask your SA for some free accessories!!
Thank you! I did chat in last night, got a generic text about an hour later, and no respone when I followed up.
I emailed the SA for the fourth time today and still no reply. Maybe I’ll chat in again...

WELL WELL WELL. Decided to check the source code again, and I HAVE A VIN. On the downside, I'm getting more reminders to schedule my delivery on dates when I've told them I've out of town, so I don't know what's going to happen with my car. Guess we'll see.

what did you set for your availability? So it appears that you get your delivery text 3 days before you can actually take delivery. Got the text this morning. Earliest is Friday, did Saturday cuz work

Rooting for you Kristina!! Contact tesla fremont sales and just ask any sales advisor for an update. they may be able to push something through

For those that recently took delivery. Is the carbon fiber spoiler coming installed from the factory? If it is how is fit and shape? Any gaps/separating?
