Performance Waiting Room

I'm in Miami. So today, I was finally able to see a Deep Blue Metallic M3P. Wow, looks amazing. So, in a sudden change of heart, I reached out to my SA and he was able to transfer my current order (Pearl White / Black Interior) which was scheduled to arrive 03/24 to another Performance Model in Deep Blue Metallic. Best part, he was able to just swap VIN # so I didn't lose my order fee. Only downside is that the Deep Blue Metallic was scheduled to be delivered 3 days after so, 03/27. Both models were with black interior, PUP and no FSD.

Good choice! :D

Went by the Raleigh center today (delivery Saturday) saw one like ours, but different VIN.
I discovered they have a separate warehouse nearby the sales office and service center that appears to be where they get cars in. There must have been 100 or so there.

For what its worth, I got a text out of the blue from a rep (last text was on march 9 about the 2-3 date) just a half an hour ago who states my car is set to leave fremont on the 20th and i should get my ride "shortly thereafter". the rep also stated that they managed a lot of deliveries yesterday and all thigns are smooth.

im in LA - ordered feb 7th model 3 fully loaded with everything black on black.

So, the website shows one in stock here with the same config as ours. Maybe it's the one I snapped a pic of earlier. Can't I just get that one instead? I have an email into the SA to check.

Edit- Yeah, I'm like a kid waiting on Christmas.

I had the pleasure of picking up my car this past Saturday right outside of Chicago. It was cold and sleeting outside as i inspected the car outside. I found about 6 visible scratches and paint chips. Most of the damaged looked like it was caused by the person who loaded/unloaded or cleaned the car. I brought up my concerns and the delivery "specialist" documented everything and told me to log it in the app which I did immediately. Monday I received to a call to schedule service visit Thursday which I was excited about. Today I noticed the undercarriage plastic cover was a little loose but the saw that is has been damaged underneath. Probably explains why the front right tire is leaking air... I called it in but they told me to schedule it using the app. Hoping they cover it. Wish me luck!

tldr - Look under your car before you drive off.

Just got an email to do the Direct Drop Delivery and they're telling me to sign the final document on my account and make the down payment but there's no options to do either of those on my account. Also I'm doing a trade-in and they mention nothing about my trade-in or what I should do with it. They also said if I'm not able to take delivery then I'll be taking it in June :/

On my account it still says "We are drafting up your contract and will contact you when you can make your final payment."

EDIT: Also on my account, it says my delivery appointment is at midnight in 3 hours... lol

when will you be able to pick it up? I see a bunch on M3P listed in inventory at my local SC but it doesn’t mean they are on-site...probably assigned or en route. I confirmed with SA...said my delivery scheduled for 3/21 would be faster than ordering a “inventory” M3P. If you know they are on-site that’s a different story.

It was on-site. They sent me a delivery appointment for Friday, then called me and said I could just come and get it today. They were not able to transfer my financing so I had to re-apply which kind of sucks, but I actually got a much better rate this time around thanks to all of the recent Fed rate cuts. They also could not transfer the $100 order fee, but I convinced them to give me a $100 Tesla store credit which is fine because I'm going to be picking up a homekit module anyway. I'm pretty pleased with how it all turned out.

I will say that panel fitment is very lackluster on this vehicle, however. Much worse than our other model 3. There are several panels that are pretty severely misaligned. Oh well, c'est la vie. I know the drill by now, so I'll get it in and have things re-adjusted and it'll be alright!

I picked up Gazelle yesterday, she’s awesome. Two days early and this is how it worked: Tesla host called to confirm noon appt. and said car would be parked up front with paperwork highlighted in the car. Fill it out put folder on table by front doors and host will verify paperwork. If all is good she gives thumbs up and good to go. Non contact delivery. Strange days all.

Regarding non contact delivery...we're picking ours up Saturday and the Tesla employee pretty much told us to expect the same thing. Hand over paper work, get the keys, go about your business. He said "We will not touch your car". Strange times indeed and I'll miss the pomp and circumstance that usually comes with a new car pickup.
